Amina Blakely

Amina is bubbly and outgoing. She can be something of a flirt and is often easily distracted by a cute smile. Her parents elder daughter, she was close with her father, Derick, from a young age. Growing up, she was also very close with her younger sister, Mariama — Mini & Mari rarely being separate from one another — though they began to grow apart as they moved into their late teens, with their differences becoming more pronounced.

Moving out, Amina sought independence and wanted excitement in her life. She spent some time travelling — spending a number of years in Japan before returning back closer to home. She missed her family with the distance and it prompted her to reach out and reconnect with Mariama, restrengthening their relationship with time. This reinforced bond proved particularly important when Amina's relationship with her fiancé began to fall apart — the sisters moving in together for some time after eventually leaving her ex.
