DIOCESAN VESTMENTS

After over 25 years of use, our Diocesan Vestment has finally been replaced. It served us very well and we can still use it at Masses. The new Diocesan Vestments were ordered almost 2 years ago from the Trappist Monks of Saint Joseph's Abbey (Holy Rood Guild) in Spencer, Massachusetts. They are known for the quality and fine tailoring of liturgical vestments. We received 2 Chasubles for Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (Fr. Ed and a Parish Vestment) and 5 for St. John Bosco Church (Fr. Ric, Fr. Christian, Fr. Steven and two Parish Vestments) plus a Dalmatic for Deacon Maurice.

The Parish Vestments at Saint John Bosco Church were offered by:

• In Thanksgiving for our Four Children & Four Grandchildren by Steven & Deborah Jordan

If anyone is interested in offering the PARISH VESTMENT at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, in memory of a loved one, for a Special Intention or in Thanksgiving for Blessings received, please contact the Parish Office at 570-788-1997, Ext 3 or 4. Parish Vestments will remain in the Church. They are used when we have special Holy Day Concelebrated Masses (for example, Christmas, Easter, etc.)
