2025 CAPITAL FUND DRIVE

Final Report with Much Gratitude

Our summer Capital Fund Drives have officially concluded at both of our Churches. Over the past few weeks, we have gratefully acknowledged the generosity of our donors in the parish bulletin. Donations are still being accepted. We now share the final results and updates on completed projects.

SACRED HEART OF JESUS CHURCH

A total of $9,210.00 was received from 54 families/individuals out of 112 envelope holders. We are deeply grateful for this generous support.

Thanks to your contributions, extensive renovations to the Church exterior have been completed, including:

•  Installation of vinyl siding and insulation

•  New downspouts, fascia, and soffits

•  Landscaping improvements at the front entrance and around the Church sign

•  New picture window in the Sacristy

These much-needed upgrades have greatly improved both the appearance and efficiency of our Church building.

SAINT JOHN BOSCO CHURCH

We received a total of $41,535.00 from 274 families/individuals out of 828 envelope holders. Your generosity has allowed us to complete several major improvements:

• Replacement of flooring in 8 classrooms, 11 large closets, the Church/Faith Formation entrance, Hallway, Gathering Space and the entire Gym/Auditorium

• Safe removal and disposal of asbestos tiles in all these areas

Our maintenance staff, with the help of volunteers, is currently cleaning the renovated spaces, reorganizing closets, and discarding unclaimed or worn-out items.

We are pleased to announce that all parish ministries and groups have returned to using the facilities as of August 1. This includes:

•  Alcoholics Anonymous

•  Secular Franciscans

•  Faith Formation Classes

•  Bereavement Ministry

•  Al-Anon

•  Adult Bible Study

•  Parish Advisory Committee Meetings

•  Knights of Columbus Council & 4th Degree

•  ...and all others who share in our parish life.
