With skill, story, and just the right amount of spice, Fr. Arun & Fr. Sudhir delivered a meal full of flavor and fraternity—proving once again meals like great ministry, are best shared.

One of the Diocese of Scranton’s most popular and creative fundraisers is returning for a milestone season, as Rectory, Set, Cook! launched its fifth annual competition – with the hopes of surpassing $1 million raised since its inception. The 2026 Rectory, Set, Cook! campaign officially kicked off on Tuesday, Feb. 17th and invites everyone across Northeastern and North Central Pennsylvania to support priests turned “pastor chefs” as they cook – and compete – to fight hunger and homelessness. Voting ends at 4:00 PM, Friday, Mar. 27th.

Half of all funds raised benefit Catholic Social Services of the Diocese of Scranton, while the remaining half goes directly to the participating priest’s parish to assist with local social Justice initiatives. Each vote costs $10.00. Let’s put Father Sudhir, our former Assistant Pastor, over the top!!!
