USHERS

The role of a church usher is a ministry of presence and hospitality to welcome people and to assist with seating, when needed, especially during the holidays and at crowded masses. We are blessed that both parishes have many ushers for all of our masses. They facilitate the collection at mass, work with the sacristan/mass coordinator to secure parishioners for the offertory procession, provide information and assistance, and emergency response, when needed. If you are interested in occasionally volunteering in this ministry, please see one of the ushers before or after mass for more information. We especially need ushers at holiday masses and at Holy Days of Obligation that occur during the week when our current ushers are not available.
