SALVATION ARMY LUNCHEONS

The SJB Salvation Army Committee collects winter items for the clients at the Hazleton Salvation Army during the next few weeks. We will deliver what we collect. Thank you for whatever you can donate. Some suggestions: men's and women's gloves, hats, scarves, and socks.

The SJB Salvation Army Committee serves a nutritious lunch every 3rd Wednesday at the Hazleton Salvation Army from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  Members supply some food items and prepare them beginning at 9:30 AM. Our committee members supply the items used to make up each meal as well as prepare, cook, serve, and clean up afterward. We usually serve about 55 meals. During the summer SJB Youth Group join to help prepare, serve, and clean up as well. 

ITEMS REQUESTED FOR SALVATION ARMY

The SJB Salvation Army Committee will be collecting men’s and women’s gloves, scarves, hats, and socks for the clients at the Salvation Army. We will accept articles until December 14. Just deposit them in the labeled basket.
