A GRATEFUL WORD OF THANKS: SUPPORTING ST. VINCENT de PAUL KITCHEN
We are delighted to share a letter of profound gratitude from St. Vincent de Paul Kitchen, Wilkes-Barre, acknowledging a generous $125 donation from our Sacred Heart of Jesus Church community. This donation directly supports their vital ministry, enabling them to perform daily "corporal works of mercy" for those in need.
How Your Donation Makes a Difference Daily:
• Hot Meals: They consistently provide a hot, nutritious meal to the hungry every single day.
• "Take Along" Table: Thanks to partnerships with local grocery stores and bakeries, guests can also take home prepared meals, fresh fruit, vegetables, and baked goods.
• Pantry & Clothing Services: In addition to daily meals, their food pantry and free clothing rooms continue to serve those in need every Tuesday and Thursday.
The full letter is posted on the Sacred Heart of Jesus Bulletin Board for all to read.
