BECOME A KNIGHT OF COLUMBUS

Knights of Columbus Council 8613, Our Lady of Fatima, serves the Greater Hazleton area with a long tradition of faith, charity, and service. Members support local charities, strengthen parishes and families, and grow in fraternity.

K of C SCHOLARSHIP FOR GRADUATING SENIORS

Cash scholarships are available to our graduating parishioners from the local Knights of Columbus. If you are graduating this year from a public, parochial, private or home-school and are a registered and participating member of St. John Bosco Church or Sacred Heart of Jesus Church you may apply. Applications are available by calling the parish office at 570-788-1997, EXT 3 and it will be mailed to you to complete and return. You may also receive an application from a Knight of Columbus. All applications MUST be returned by May 15. Chairperson: Knight Dale Gregorin. The Knights are also seeking pledges to help support these scholarships. Forms can be found in the vestibules, as well.

ANNUAL POLISH DINNER

The Knights of Columbus Polish Dinner is on Wednesday June 3rd from 4 PM to 7 PM at Good Shepherd Church Hall, Route 309.

It will be dine in or take out and the meal consists of kielbasi, halupki, haluski, pierogies, dessert, drinks and complimentary wine and Polish beer. The cost is $15.00. Tickets will be available after all masses on the weekends of April 25th and 26th; May 2nd and 3rd, May 23rd and May 24th, and May 30th and 31st at St. John Bosco and Sacred Heart Churches. Tickets are available at the St. John Bosco Church Office, Route 93, Conyngham. Tickets will be available at the door until we sell out.

NO TICKETS WILL BE SENT TO MEMBERS.

Please support the Knights as our profits goes to our Churches, Kids for Coats project, the various Food Pantries and non-profit charities.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR KNIGHTS!

The American Red Cross recognized the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Fatima Council # 8613 for hosting Holiday Blood Drives each year at Saint John Bosco Church, Conyngham, PA.

Since 2005 they have collected 1251 Units of Blood (not counting the current blood drive). Thank you for your ongoing support of our Blood Service's Program and for providing this valuable community service! Your support and help is appreciated. You truly made a difference! American Red Cross.

CONGRATULATIONS to Joseph and Geraldine Molitoris and children Gianna, Celine, Tobias and Rosealia, who were named Knights of Columbus Family of the Year for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
