ST. JOHN BOSCO CLOTHING SHED
On our Church property, we are blessed to have a St. Pauly Clothing Shed. You can participate in a Corporal Work of Mercy by simply donating used or new but unwanted clothing to the needy. Simply drive up to our clothing shed and drop off the clothing in a plastic bag in the shed. It is available 24/7.
As you cleanout your closets, downsizing or have to empty the clothing closets and drawers of a deceased loved one, you can pack up the clean items and place them in the shed to be recycled. The items are given to needy throughout the United States and the World, especially in Third World and developing countries as well as areas that experienced flooding, earthquakes, fires, etc. Thank you!
What to Drop-off:
Used Clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, linens, pillowcases, blankets, curtains, and stuffed animals.
What Not to Drop-off:
Furniture, electronics, household items, books, toys, garbage, pillows, rags, and fabric scraps.
The Clothing Shed on the grounds of Saint John Bosco Church helps us fulfill one of the Corporal Works of Mercy and the biblical command (Matthew 25:35–40) to provide clothing and dignity to those in need, such as the poor, the homeless, and refugees.
In 2025, you donated 71,315 pounds of clothing. This was enough to clothe an estimated 13,137 people around the world. Based on the volume of clothing placed in our shed, we received $2,853, which is used to further the Corporal Works of Mercy in our local area. The clothing shed is provided by St. Pauly Textile, Inc.
Thank you for your generosity in donating clothing to assist those who are in serious need here in the United States and in many developing countries around the world.
