THE “OFFERTORY”

We invite you to enter more fully into the weekend liturgy by considering bringing up the gifts at one of our masses at either church. THIS IS NOT THE DUTY OF THE USHERS. If you are offering the Mass intention simply let the Sacristan or Deacon know 10 minutes PRIOR to the Mass. If we don’t hear from you we will select other parishioners to do so. You can also call the parish office or make plans to bring up the gifts when scheduling a mass. While only two gifts are usually presented, entire families or a group of friends are encouraged to come forward. Additional gifts may be added to the procession.

During Mass, participants should proceed to the back of the church after the recitation of the Creed, during the Prayer of the Faithful, to bring up the bread and wine at the end of the petitions. All are welcome to participate. Thank you for your willingness to share your gifts and yourselves with our parish community.
