1. Call to Order / Board Introductions / Explanation of How Meeting will Run—7:02pm
2. Minutes: Review of minutes from 5/14/24 meeting, motion traci, 2nd Carla Whipple, all in favor
3. Co - President’s Report
DEI Committee Report—Diversity Equity and Inclusion, recipe book to sell for PTO fundraiser, plan to roll out sooner than later, DCP sells at Beanbag Books
PTO Popsicles on the Playground w/ Kindergarten--most teachers attended, great attendance, information needed at screening

Staff Lounge Update (2 new refrigerators, 2 microwaves, welcome back snacks, organization of supplies) & Name Plates
4. Treasurer’s Report
Budget Overview for 2024-25 School Year—highlights of major changes
Upping $500 across the board for all specials, motion to approve C. Whipple, 2nd T. Cinereski, all in favor--approved!
Need line item for cash donations (“unspecified” or visible on Treasurer Report), add to website (trying to find least costly app—ex Venmo, etc)
Motion to approve budget with 2 changes made B. Collins, 2nd J. Miley, all in favor--approved!
Funding Requests
Under $300 we approve as a board
Mrs. Wilder—Zoo Brew soil, grant for seed, need to purchase compost, $250 on 9/1, motion to approve L. Skillen, 2nd by K. McDonald, all in favor—approved!
Bobbi Collins, Skillen—classroom books for staff, not to exceed $25, amending $1600, 1 book per staff member (if seasoned teachers don’t need/want the books, we save the $ to reallocate), motion to approve M. Hay, 2nd H. Stake, all in favor—approved!

Kona Ice Days (1st Friday of the month)—volunteers booked for the year
Nurse Toombs (Dental Visit, help on non-busy times to reorganize the clinic closet by sizes, etc.), there’s a sign up for donations.
Book Fair (School day & Family Viewing Nights)—2 weeks, AM/PM—Sept 30-Oct.15
Veterans Day Breakfast 11/11—serving, cleaning up
Field Day (May 22nd - tentative)

Fundraising (Mums)—sale closed $5,500 goal, $7187.50—worth it to extend deadline for a whole week
Truck won’t come until 11:30 (11-4 volunteer timeframe), will revamp pickup routine
Fundraising (Spiritwear)—talk to coach Patrick?
Staff Appreciation (P/T Conference Meals, October 3rd & 10th)—Canes and salad bar, Jersey Mikes, Pizza for conference so we can do nicer for Staff Appreciation, Jimmy Johns, Bob Evans, Paynes, Backstretch
Trunk or Treat (October 24th)—old bus alley, 6pm set up, 6:30-7:30, families and teachers (K-4, IS, learning support), monster bin on 9/23rd to drop off candy/trinkets, PTO will supply an allergy free pumpkin with different, game area, awards for 1-4th place trunk, goal of 20 cars, police and fire, public works?
Secret Santa (December 14th)—16 vendors, 3 raffle prizes, Santa confirmed, Hayes and Schultz Singers confirmed, reached out to NHS and Key Club, Dempsey Student Council and CBI
October 8 first planning meeting at 6:15
