Meeting Minutes

Schultz Elementary PTO

Date: December 10, 2019 Location: Music Room Time: 7 o’clock 

Attendance: H. Ward, L. Beall, L. Bailly, K. Wilder, V. Mrazeck, M. Shaw, H. Skedell, H. Calhoun, L. Skillen, M. Krell, Teacher Reps: R. Long, A. Carter

Minutes: Minutes of November 10, 2019 meeting read & approved (with changes to be made; reword “Book fair $1,600 e-wallet profits to sale”)

Officers’ Reports

Treasurer: Treasurer’s report read and accepted. Report attached.

• Deposit for pie/cookie fundraiser was $15,623 (no invoice was sent yet, Lauren will reach out to Joe our rep for this) last year (2018) our sales was $14,147. Total items sold 663 (82 cheesecakes, 222 pies, 357 cookies we will have 49 extra items)

• Jumpstart Checks: 40 staff members submitted receipts for 1st semester

• Funding Requests

COMMITTEES

Fundraising 

Top 3 pie/item sales #1 sold 34 items #2 sold 20 items & #3 was a3 way tie with 19 items
Class pizza parties will happen in January #1 Mrs. Wider w/ 36% participation and #2 was a tie Mr. Bracken & Mrs. Capriato w/ 33%
Family Events
Secret Santa: Set up is Friday 12/13 4-7 pm help is needed. We have almost 30 vendors this year

Family Game Night: Order pizza, remember to bring cash/small bills to make change 

Box Top Committee: Pie in the Face will be done the first week in Feb (winners were pulled) May need to revisit this…since PIE IN THE FACE was not a prize earned for pie sales this year.

• Chipotle Fundraiser thank you to those that could go

• 3rd grade reading camp has started on Tuesdays 

• 3rd grade will attend the Nutcracker on Friday, 12/13 

• 5th grade trip to Meeker was excellent
