Meeting Date: December 12, 2023                       Meeting Location: Art Room

Attendance: Tracy Cinereski, Jayme Hiller, Kristina McDonald, Angela Miley, Jay Miley, Bree Saunders, Lauren Skillen, Heather Stake, Kenzie Staley, Melissa Stansbery, Heather Ward, Travis Woodworth, Kaitlyn Young

1. Call to Order—7:04pm

2. Minutes: Review of minutes from 11/14/23 meeting, motion to approve K. Staley, 2nd H. Ward, all in favor

3. Co-President's Report—none

4. Treasurer’s Report

• Budget Update—balance $11,712.65 as of 12/11/23

• Funding Requests

  • Tracy Cinereski—$500 for drum circle clinic K-5th during music class, requesting substitute fee for the week (will pull from Literacy Week leftover funds, amend budget with a $500 line for assembly/guest educators or similar)—J. Miley, 2nd K. Young, all in favor, approved!

5. Committee Reports

• Fundraising

  • Pie Sale Update—$1,658.33 profit, 287 units, 3rd party transportation was last minute and nothing we could do

  • Spirit Wear Update—$309.40 profit, 54 orders, Lindsey Stamm will pick up and drop off on Monday

  • Amato’s Dine to Donate Update-- $150 profit, $925 in Schultz sales, 15% back 

  • Pizza Sale Update—Bree reached out to Little Caesar’s for week of Super Bowl (2/5-2/8), paper and online sales, start 1/5--end paper sales on 1/17 online Sunday 1/21 at 11:59pm, to submit Monday 1/22

  • Foertmeyer Flower Sale 2/28-3/13, submit by 3/15, delivery Sat 5/11 8-2pm

• Secret Santa

  • Overall thoughts and reflection—$2,170 profit, $1,194 added to budget after replenishing the budget, Holiday Treasures vendor with scanners ran smoother, $3,549.81 early sign up bonus in January (possibly more if returning?), spent under $1,000 from budgeted, Santa Snack Shack extras can go to staff lounge for new year reset so won’t have to spend as much, Carla Whipple did great for raffle baskets, vendors want to come back loved photo backdrop and Santa, cookie decorating clean and organized, quality and preview of the gifts

  • Improvement for next year: fewer cookies, could make a larger fundraiser, performers get people in, former students back in the Santa Shop, door decorating voting??, food option for vendor, direction at the front door, shorter shifts to rotate, more signs, cut off for shop

• NexTrek Update—291lbs total + 3 unweighed bags

• Movie/Game Night (tabled for January)
