1. Call to Order at 7:10pm
Welcome incoming Kindergarten families!
2. Minutes: Review of minutes from 3/21/23 meeting—motion to approve H. Ward, 2nd J. Hiller, all in favor
3. Co-President's Report
PTO Scholarship—
Applications have gone out to Hayes students
Mr. Woodworth has applications back for selections to be made
4. Treasurer’s Report
Budget Update—Current balance: $10,622.17
Funding Requests
5th Grade Yard Signs—$7/each for 130 students from Waterford Signs (local), Will use 27 left over from last year, motion to approve J. Miley, 2nd K. McDonald, all in favor—approved!

Events
Spring Fling- May 12 (90min. event) Luau Theme, all will receive a lei, will have games/hula hoop/limbo, dancing, juice and Costco cake,
Lauren to follow up with DJ
Set up/clean up volunteers needed
Field Day- May 24 (May 25th rain date) PTO will ask for volunteers
Fundraising
Foertmeyer Flower Pick Up on Saturday, May 13, Volunteers Needed
Truck to arrive at 8am,
Will get Sign Up Genius out with pick up times so we have time to follow up with those who haven’t signed up for pick up
Volunteers Shifts: 8-11 sorting, 11-2 pick ups
Fall flower sale—Foertmeyer has reached out for Mumkin sales, should we do again?

***Discussion: How much more money will come in once we are non-profit?
Other Ideas Suggested: Scoop ice cream at Whits, City BBQ, Amatos (Heather will call them), The Warehouse, Pulp, Crumbl
Spring Spirit Wear-- $3/item earned
Pat’s Print Shop, Next Level brand clothing
All paper orders (send out on 4/13) due 4/25 (also distributed at Kindergarten Open House)
Staff Appreciation
Staff Appreciation Week (May 8-12)—each day with different theme and gifts, will ask for item donations
6. Principal’s Report – Mr. Woodworth
Kindergarten Open House was tonight
Exciting to see where we are moving and growing with increasing population
Thank you for supporting us
Field trips coming up, variety show try outs, senior lunch in May
7. Old Business
501(c) (3) update—none (due to late March meeting and spring break)
A. Miley did some research and will have dad validate—her understanding that we do not need to get a BINGO license because we will be a 501(c)(3) already (That will open up ability to profit off of raffles)
8. New Business
PTO Board Positions for 2023-2024—empty VP seat
Nominations—
Co-President: Heather Calhoun and Lauren Skillen (no other nominations)
Vice President:
L. Skillen nominated Kristina McDonald for VP, nomination accepted by K. McDonald
H. Ward nominated Heather Stake for VP, nomination accepted by accepted by H. Stake
Ballot vote in May
Secretary: Melissa Stansbery (no other nominations)
Treasurer: Bree Saunders (year 2), A. Miley will shadow to take over 2024-2025
