· Mum Fundraiser Update—13 adults, 7 NHS, a few former Schultz kids, sorted under an hour, pick up change didn’t make a difference, could shorten time frame, L. Stamm likes it by letter better, could move tables down differently, J-K was crowded
· Whit’s Fundraiser —Tuesday, October 15th 5-7 pm Guest Scoopers: 5:00-6:00 Tyra Baisden Mr. Justin, Anna Wildermuth, 6:00-7:00 Sami Tumusco and Tracy Cinereski
· APEX Fun Run – National company but franchised locally, big on leadership (goes along with 5 B’s), “Future Leaders”, presence for 2 weeks, teacher huddle/goal setting, pep rally/dj equipment, money generated through log ins, fun athletic event at the very end, daily 8-10 min lesson bands/lesson cubes, work around specials/lunch/etc, engaging at recess, participation incentives (donut party, face paint party, dodgeball), they’re doing all the heavy work and it’s a 50/50 split up to $30,000 (and then sliding scale), estimated PTO portion $25,000
o Big minus—super competitive
o Big positives—discipline issues were down, attendance was up during that time, even if a child never participates, they still get to participate in class and do the fun run/get the bands
