1. Call to Order—7:05pm
2. Minutes: Review of minutes from 10/10/23 meeting—motion to approve K. Young, 2nd H. Ward, all in favor

Thank you for Veteran’s Day breakfast—served almost ~60 veterans, ~70 students

Budget Update—balance $17,024.68 (as of 11/11/23)
Funding Requests
Sarah Bills (Guidance)
Literacy Night—$170 from “Literacy Night” budget for 1,700 bookmarks from Project Lightwell—R. Long, 2nd J. Miley, all in favor—approved!
General Student Use—~$800 from “Inclusion” budget:
Kelly Carlson (founder of Project Lightwell)--Fair Trade bunnies/stickers/bookmarks to deliver message “Loved…No Matter What”, goal to place truth, value, and light in the dark, willing to help design candy grams (donating design work to Schultz)
16 Project Lightwell bunnies (K-2nd calm down kits)
Project Lightwell stickers (3rd-5th)

Sarah Heald--NFL prizes, activities, snacks
First Grade Field Trip--$715, asking $5.50/student so that parents don’t have to send in 50 cents due to 5% multicultural fee—R. Long, 2nd K. Young, all in favor—approved!

Kona Ice (January / February / March)—3 volunteers needed to count funds/call students
Fundraising
Pie Sales Update—transportation to Delaware is a 3rd party refrigeration truck, not picked up yet, flyers will go out with each student---profit $1,768, shipping $212
Discussion—Big Picture: we’ve had so much fundraising this year and we want to go to one larger thing to, Apex Company does it all, Empower

Pizza Sale—bumped up date to align with Super Bowl

Grade Level Raffle Baskets—get out before Black Friday, volunteer sheets Friday and Saturday, Holiday Treasures, will have another S.S. meeting 11/29@6:30
