Officers’ Reports
Treasurer: Treasurer’s report read and accepted. Report attached.
Pie/Cookie fundraiser was $5,439 in profits. With our current balance we can pay out the remainder of our budget lines without needing profits from the spring fundraiser
Secret Santa; PTO keeps 10% of the sales from the Penguin Patch
3rd grade field trip to the Nutcracker came in above cost ($700) due to bigger class sizes and an 5% tax from Columbus per ticket
Funding Requests
*Music is requesting a class set of ukuleles, extra repair strings, cases and a tuner for 5th grade classes to use. The approximate cost is $100 each for 30 each.
Discussion: There is a line item for specials of $3,000 that has not been used this year or previous few years.

COMMITTEES
Staff Appreciation
Counselor Appreciation is the 1st week in February
Creating a teacher wish list as a 2nd semester for teachers, will spend about $1,500 total for items, Mrs. Krell will forward the spread sheet to PTO and we will reach out to those staff members that haven’t responded
Conference Meals Thur 3/5 will be taco night & Wed 3/11 will be pasta night

Family Events
Secret Santa: There was $876 to spend on Giving Tree gifts
Family Game Night: Thursday March 26th 6-7:30 pm
Spring Fling Friday May 15th 6-7:30 $500 budget, $75 for photo booth, looking for DJ
Box Top Committee: Check was received for $1,050.70 Next deadline for turning in is March 1st (must be postmarked) Week of Feb 10th – 13th will do spin for a top again. Remove raffle tickets & pie for the spinner

STEAM night will be January 29th
Houses will be collecting donations through the end of January. If they are able to fill the 6 boxes the whole school will be rewarded with a pajama day on Jan 31st
Mrs. Horner’s gym classes are working on Heart Challenge (formally Jump Rope for the Heart) January 27th – 31st
Black History Committee worked hard to have each grade level learn about a different aspect of black history for the month of February

New Business
COSI on Wheels is February 5th for grades 3,4 & 5 and February 6th for grades K, 1, & 2. We are still in need of volunteers! Sign up will be reposted to Facebook and weekly newsletter.
Spring Flower Fundraiser Delivery and Pick up will be Saturday, May 9th (delivery truck @ 10 am & pick up will start @ 1 pm)
