Peer Support

• I created low-cost and accessible events as president of the Environmental Club in high school

• I founded and directed STEM-ERL: a weekly lunch for graduate students, providing tools for disadvantaged students to catch up on emerging research methods and content.

STEM Education

• I suggested Tolerance as a philosophy for addressing peers with different political viewpoints, including LGBTQ+

• I advised and coached several clubs and sports teams, such as volleyball, rock climbing, and varsity swim

• I created a math club in response to students requesting a fun and intellectual place to hang out after school

Healthcare

• I successfully encouraged Nurse Education to update training on giving vaccines so they are less painful, after learning techniques from a seasoned nurse, advocating to reduce pain and trauma especially for child vaccinations.
