The University of Utah implemented a Shared Governance program, through which I was able to:
Created a Peer Review Process for improving skills and peer support, see example Review Guide
Contributed data and advocated for a parking stipend on campus
Implemented a Case Study Review program to address complications in patient care and the need for briefings
Delegated Charge Capture of Wound Care to providers, improving workflow and ensuring adequate compensation for materials used
Updated policy for virtual visit check-ins to omit non-critical information and reduce redundancy
Updated Standard Operating Procedures for sterile procedures
Coordinated Occupational Therapy visits, through which I Initiated acquisition of ergonomic keyboards
Coordinated multiple Wellness Presentations from the Resiliency Center
Submitted proposal, and was awarded grant for ergonomic monitor risers
Wrote training document for Patient Relations Services position that included communication instructions, improving workflow
Reorganized the front office and acquired additional supplies, improving quick access to resources
Identified major lapse in cleaning, including 5-month neglect on visitor waiting room, patient bays, break room, and front office
