I created a Math Club in response to students requesting a fun place to hang out after school.
In graduate school, I created STEM-ERL (Education Research Lunch), a weekly gathering for my cohort to address research methods and stay current with emerging content.
I led my peers and community volunteers through an unconventional, international, Senior Design Project with Engineers Without Borders, where we provided solutions for water supply in El Salvador, requiring global communication strategies and engineering standards.

I designed a Skills Day for staff and leadership in a hospital clinic: promoting healthy dialog for improving care, increasing peer support, and maintaining a safe and productive, yet joyful environment. As a result, I influenced management to adjust their approach to a Culture of Wellness and Psychological Safety.
As a STEM instructor, I advocated for a student with Reactive Attachment Disorder by leveraging a more compassionate approach from administration. I disseminated my research, by collaborating with each audience: Special Education, my colleagues, administrative staff, and my students.
I addressed a contingency of BIPOC students feeling behind in a summer program by (1) encouraging them to participate and self-advocate, and (2) providing curriculum suggestions for my instructor colleagues such that students could more easily follow along, such as Clozed Notes.
I guided a Homeroom class from identifying as "Discombobulated,” to “functional, empathetic, and responsible,” at the end of the year, including one student being accepted into a Pre-Med program
I took complaints of a staff member’s work ethic, and successfully adjusted the workflow to discreetly address his dyslexia.
