Venture Academy breaks from their normal curriculum for two weeks for a program called Intensives, in which teachers collaborate in pairs or triples to cover highly specialized topics.
Presenting the concept of Perception of reality provided students an opportunity to explore why it is that we react the way we do.

As soft skills, students explored concepts such as desensitization and tolerance, and why some students were fans of horror, for example.
