Compliance

• I have extensive experience in highly-regulated and fast-paced environments of hospitals, engineering project management, and higher education, requiring discretion, reliability, and attention to detail.

• I have a long track record of compliance work, including monitoring, auditing, revising, and overseeing policies and procedures such as ADA/Section 504, Title IX, Workers Compensation, and HIPAA/FERPA. 

• My first-ever paying position was with the Boulder Print Shop, editing and approving pre-press layouts and content. 

• Early in my professional career I updated the emergency safety manuals for Turning Point Youth and Family Development in Ft. Collins, CO, collaborating with multiple executives and facility directors.

Grants

I effectively apply for and manage grants

• Seeking, writing, reporting

• I managed a conference sponsored by Texas Instruments for math teachers to a five-star resort in Breckenridge, CO, which required grant funding and reporting to the National Science Foundation.

Fundraising

• I championed fundraising as a Project Manager, including a 5K run, T-shirt design and sales, and two musical galas at local restaurants. I designed Wellness 101, based on evidence-based, self-awareness tools. 

 Large-scale events and programs

• I managed the STEM branch of a Reading Day, including guest speakers, year-long marketing, and multiple guided campus tours utilizing public transportation.

• In addition to being professional, reliable, and diligent, my approach is to be observant, pragmatic, compassionate, and proactive, fostering healthy communication and dependability.

• I have several examples of supporting students and of supporting providers in a healthcare setting, communicating effectively about patient care.

• I guided a Homeroom class that identified as "Discombobulated at best” in a shift from overall feeling “traumatized,” to feeling “functional, empathetic, honest, and responsible,” including one student being accepted into a Pre-Med program.
