Talk About It

Everyone has feelings and it's okay to have all kinds of feelings.

Is it okay to be angry?

Yes

If someone feels angry at school, why aren't they allowed to do something that might harm another person?

because school is a safe place for everyone

When you feel angry, what can you do?

Possible answers: Talk to someone. Draw a picture. Take a time out. Take a deep breath.

There are many ways to do something about strong feelings like anger.

One important way to manage feelings is to talk about them.

What do you say when you feel angry?

What are some strategies you can use when you are talking about your feelings?

  • listen to others

  • gather thoughts before speaking
