HEALTH EDUCATION is part of the regular mandated K-5 curriculum of DeKalb County School District. At Oak Grove we deliver this curriculum in a 45-minute class settings once per week.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION is part of the regular mandated K-5 curriculum of DeKalb County School District. At Oak Grove we deliver this curriculum in two 45-minutes class settings twice a week.

Application of Physical Education Standards for Students with Disabilities

Extra Help - Assistance with Health & Physical Education concepts is available on Tuesday 2:15-3:00P in the Gym office. Please email Coach Anberg to set up extra help. The extra help day is subject to change.

Supervision - certified teacher to student ratio (1:46 / 2:92)

Hours - GA State Requirement - 60 PE hours / 30 HE hours = 90 Hours per school year
