TK ELEVATOR
Evolution
Overview
The Evolution is TK Elevator (formerly ThyssenKrupp Elevator)'s belt driven MRL traction elevator for the United States market. It was introduced in 2018 with the Evolution 200, later joined by the Evolution 100 model in 2020.
Characteristics
Evolution 200s have their controllers mounted next to the highest doorway. As a result, the door frame on the top level has a hinged panel, similar to the Otis Gen2 and Schindler 3300. This is the easiest way to tell an Evolution from another TK.
ThyssenKrupp claimed that the Evolution is the quietest MRL in the North American market.
