Old black buttons
These were made by GAL from the 1950s to the 1970s.

Call station
Flush buttons
These were made by GAL during the late 1960s and early 1970s, and used mostly by local companies. The original version had black buttons with illuminating halos, but these were replaced around 1972 with white illuminating buttons.
There is also a very rare square variant, only known to exist in white.

Indicator commonly used with these buttons
Jet Plus
Jet Plus is the most common fixture made by GAL. It consists of a round plastic button with a round or square plastic halo. They usually have printing on their faces, but It was discontinued in 2020.
There are eight varieties of Jet Plus buttons:
RBW - black round halo, round white light-up button (most common)
RWB - white light-up round halo, round black button
RWW - round white light-up halo, round white light-up button
RBB - black round halo, black light-up button
SBW - black square halo, round white light-up button
SWB - white light-up square halo, round black light-up button
SWW - white light-up square halo, round white light-up button
SBB - black square halo, round light-up button
Jet Plus is most commonly found on elevators from smaller regional companies, but it also appears on some Otis elevators from the 1980s.

GAL digital indicator (also used with Vandal Resistant)
Jet Plus Vandal Resistant
This is a round metal button that presses the same as regular Jet Plus. It comes in the following variants:
VP - white light in the center (most common)
VPW - white illuminating halo
VPWI - white illuminating halo and light in center
VPB - black halo
VPMC - smaller with light in center and separate rim

Jet Plus Custom Variants
Otis's "Vanity" buttons are GAL Jet Plus buttons without the usual halos.
Otis's newer black buttons with halos (commonly called Lexan) are believed to be newer Jet Plus buttons.
O&W (Oliver & Williams) of California made custom buttons that are believed to be custom GAL Jet Plus.
Lanterns
GAL's standard lanterns (used with Jet Plus) are white arrows that usually light up off-white.
