Overview

Characteristics

400As typically have HT fixtures, with a unique high-pitched floor passing chime. All other chimes, including alarms and nudge modes, are the same as the standard 330A HT chimes.

400As level very quickly and accurately, similarly to Schindler's 5500, KONE's MonoSpace, and Otis's Gen2. They provide a very smooth ride.

A small room is required for the controller, despite the lack of a machine room. This is typically located near the elevator on the top floor. 400As also sometimes have loud brakes, similar to KONE EcoSpace and MonoSpace.
