Inclined moving walkways
Inclined moving walkways
Turnbull made one set of inclined moving walkways. These were located at a university in Montreal, and were replaced recently with conventional escalators. Turnbull is said to have invented the inclined walkway. Turnbull's walkways used rubber conveyor belts (like Westmont) as opposed to today's more common escalator-like plates.
