Overview

The HydroFit is Otis's standard hydraulic elevator. The machine room less version was the world's first machine room less hydraulic elevator, introduced by Otis in 2013. It is currently the only hydraulic model made by Otis for North America.

Characteristics

All Otis hydraulic elevators with Series 7/Newer Series 2 are HydroFit, regardless of whether or not there is a machine room.

HydroFits usually have very loud motors. Machine room less models have a whooshing sound when they start moving.

HydroFits are prone to glitches.
