Fujitec

Overview

Fujitec is a Japanese manufacturer of elevators and escalators. Their elevators are found in some areas of the United States and Canada. They started installing in the United States in the mid-to-late 1980s, and entered the Canadian market in 1993.

Characteristics

Fujitec elevators often have a unique feature that allows a call to be cancelled by pressing a button three times quickly.

Newer Fujitecs have a distinctive voice.

Talon MRL

Fujitec's makes an MRL model known as the Talon. It is not known whether any of the newer Fujitecs in North America are Talon.

E-Z Shuttle

Fujitec's makes a destination dispatch system called E-Z Shuttle. One installation is known to exist in North America:
