I created this collage of articles- both new and old recounting Recy Taylor's experiences and life. I highlighted words I felt were important to her and her story, such as "she loved" and "she was funny, witty" to show that she was more than just what had happened to her. But I also highlighted quotes such as "[Recy Taylor's] resistance to rape helped spark the civil rights movement..." to show the good she did despite what had happened to her.

I also pasted the word "life" over the word "rape" in the film title "The Rape of Recy Taylor" because I feel documenting and appreciating her life is most important.
