The Silenced

For my project I decided to focus on the 1960's - 1980's. I wanted to show how women didn't feel comfortable enough to share their assault stories because of general fear or fear of losing their jobs or being ignored. Women were told to keep quiet and not let their accident show that it affected them. Now because of the #MeToo movement, women are telling their stories about their experience with assault, not as victims but as survivors.
