I pulled this article to support my project because the timeline helps to show the progression of sexual assault on college campuses. This article published by The New York Times helps to show the evolution of sexual assault. Explaining reports about, "male aggression" towards women in 1950 on college campuses. This time line runs into 2017 showing readers how long assault has been an issue.
Prevalence of sexual assault on college campuses.
In college 1 in 5 girls will be experience assault or attempted sexual assault while in college. My project represents the prevalence of this ratio from the 1970s to now. The left side of the poster shows reports, photos and protests on college campuses raising awareness. The right side of my project shows the progression of this movement and represents not only the prominence of assault on college campuses all over the world but also Arizona State. I included resources of how and where to report issues.
