Fighting Sexual Harassment in the Workplace: David Rodish

The fight for equality in the workplace goes farther than opportunity and wage gap. Included is the fight against sexual harassment by both bosses and male workers of similar employment status. One of the largest victories in this battle came in the court case Bundy v. Jackson where a judge decided that sexual harassment could be considered employment discrimination under the Civil Rights Act. Included in the collage are news clippings of the trial along with a picture of Sandra Bundy, who won the case. Along with other clipping of women telling their stories and talking about the difficulties to work under the circumstances of harassment is a book cover of Catharine A MacKinnon's book Sexual Harassment of Working Women written in 1979. I felt her book was an important mark in the era that I focused on which was from 1970 to 1980.
