Does It Matter?

While doing some research I came upon a case that dealt with how women are to blame for being sexually assaulted because of what they wore. This case happened in 1915, a brief description of it is a man thought that it was ok to touch a woman just because of what she was wearing. This has been going on for far too long and there needs to be a stop to it. This case sparked my interest in doing this collage to help spread awareness towards this situation.

“Look at what she was wearing, she was clearly asking for it.” All throughout history, women have always taken the fault for being sexually assaulted. The first question that is always asked is “what were you wearing.” like it that makes any difference. Fashion changes throughout the years, but not the thoughts that go through men’s minds. We have to keep in mind that no matter the fashion trends, this could happen to anyone. So does it matter what women chose to wear?
