Met Jake his first day of training.
Computer geek.
First Miles in four generations to get kicked out of the Army. "I did everything I should have done to have a long term military career. Except I discovered I liked sharing."
Went to West Point.
Worked for McKay-Taggart for years before leaving to start his own company with Jacob, Jesse, Simon, and Chelsea.
Created a facial recognition software that cops called Mass Destruction because they’d managed to massively destroy a bunch of criminals. The software redefined the search for both criminals and missing persons.
Adam and Ian have a long history of pulling pranks on one another.
Adam Miles gets his last name from a writer friend of mine. I was spending time with her at local RWA meetings while I was writing this book and liked her last name. Her name is Michelle Miles, and she writes some fun paranormals and historicals.
If you ask my husband which character he hates the most, he will say Adam Miles for his attempts to poach Sean's girl in The Dom Who Loved Me. He's got a thing about poaching.
In the first version of The Dom Who Loved Me, Jake and Adam were lovers looking for their perfect lady.
I didn't expect to ever write Adam's family, so they sound awful in his book. Luckily he forgave Macon or Ian might not have met the Pie Maker.
