• Her father started Mountain Adventures. River took it from a room in the cabin to a big office nestled between the Rio Grande and the National Forest. At one point she’d had ten employees and offered guided tours of some of the most beautiful country in the world.

• River's ex, Matt Lewis, took all her money when he left her.
