I've had a couple of characters who were super hard to write, and Damon ranks up there with Julian Lodge from Texas Sirens. He's remote and somewhat cold, and it's hard to get the man to open up about anything.
Damon is the closest thing to James Bond I have in the whole series. He's aloof, remote, and doesn't have many friends. The one he does have turns out to be a dick. Of course I have to soften the guy up a bit, and falling for Penny does it.
