I met the amazing Suzanne Johnson long ago and had the pleasure of watching her go from a sweet, talented mom to a fierce business woman chasing after her dreams. She's an amazing cook and a pleasure to be around. At this point I'd started the Top series. Of course Masters and Mercenaries began with a spy who really wanted to be a chef, so food has played a part through the series. I'd also been wanting to check in on some of the older characters--to see a slice of life after the HEA. So I'm hanging out at Suzanne's sister Liz's place and she's cooking something amazing. That particular place we were hanging in was the inspiration for the condo in On Her Master's Secret Service, and thus the idea for the cookbook was born.
