I gave Adam a couple of brothers to show how poorly he'd been treated by his family and why he so needed Jake. I did not intend to bring those brothers around again. I didn't even name them in the original books. Well, turns out life isn't so perfect for the preferred brothers, and when Macon is down, Adam is there. Luscious begins the Topped series which features the vets - many disabled - who work at Sean Taggart's restaurant, Top. These books don't have the same level of suspense, though I do manage to work a tornado into this one! Long live the Pie Maker!
