Alex shows up at the beginning of Pure Bliss. He's the man who tries to help Hope but she's not even close to being ready.
Alex is Ian's straight man in their comedy act. He's Ian's closest confidant.
I wanted to explore the idea of how assault can break a person down - even when the assault didn't happen to him. Alex is mired in guilt over what happened to Eve, and that leads him to dark places. He's one of my most shut down characters. It takes a lot to pull him out of it.
