This is the first book after the tumultuous arc that was Theo's death and rebirth. I will admit going into this one not really sure of what I would do. So I ended up going to Brazil and bringing back a couple of interesting side characters who end being important.

Desiree is one of those characters I genuinely enjoy writing. She's dead through the majority of this book but her presence is felt throughout. She's complex, and her past with the hero and heroine is deeply important to their relationship. Kayla and Ezra are the important side characters in this one and obviously they will go on to play big roles. This one also contains one of my favorite sexy scenes in which Ian and Charlie prove how much they do not mind being watched....
