Of all the couples I’ve written, I think Alex and Eve might be the most heartbreaking. The love is there but they’re caught in their own trauma and have to find a way to break free. The setting for this one is St. Augustine and Palm Coast, Florida. The condo they stay in is based on one of my best friend’s condo. She no longer owns it, but I still see Alex and Eve on that balcony saying goodbye.
