Tiramisu

Ingredients

1/2 Sour Cream Pound Cake Recipe here

**you can use half and freeze the rest for up to 3 months.**

1 Cup extra strong coffee

1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

Strawberries just a few 8 or 10 (optional)

Two 8oz. Packages Philadelphia Cream Cheese Softened

1 cup Sour Cream

1 cup Powdered Sugar

1/2 tsp. Almond Extract

2 cups Cool Whip Whipped Topping

2 oz. Baker Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate Bar (optional)

Very small amount Whipping Cream (optional)

Directions

Cut your pound cake into 1/2 inch thick slices all around.

Layer cake pieces in the bottom of the dish of your choice, breaking to fill.

Drizzle some of the coffee over the cake slices.

(**keep in mind the number of layers you want to preserve the coffee to cover all cake layers. **)

Optional: Add a few sliced strawberries next.

Layer some of the Cheese Mixture over this...Continue on for as many layers as you can for your dish.

Cheese Mixture

In Mixing Bowl Add: Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Powdered Sugar, Almond Extract. Beat until smooth.

Fold in the Cool Whip Whipped Topping

Sprinkle cocoa through a sifter on the very top

Optional: Chocolate Ganache

Melt the Baker Chocolate Bar in the microwave for 1 minute, remove and stir. The chocolate should have melted enough. Add small amount of whipping cream. Whisk together until you get the consistency of a glaze then drizzle on top.

Chill 6 hours or overnight for better flavor.
