John 1:1-18
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
15 (John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’”) 16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus the Same, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
John 16:13
The Holy Spirit Guides Us to All Truths
13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
I believe in Universal Truths...There are truths that exist for all people, and these truths that are true regardless of where you are...These truths are everywhere...Mathematical equations are the first to come to mind when I think of universal truths...There are many other universal truths like the Law of Nature, the Law of Physics with their specific truths that are completely universal...I also believe that these Universal Truths have been around since the beginning of time, or from and in the beginning...Love, beauty, justice, moral ethics, and truth are other examples, I see as Universal Truths...All these things have been true since creation started...And these truths are and have been unchanging, and were true in the beginning, the same as they are now and were yesterday...And these universal truths will be true tomorrow...How can these many, many Universal Truths and the science and physic equations we come upon each year be true from the beginning of time?...To me, none of these truths, these Universal Truths make much sense without God...Universal Truths like the laws of gravity, the earth having an axis, the sun the moon, and the stars being a certain distance from the earth makes me think of God...I cannot believe that these things just happened all randomly and conveniently, and then became universally true...It seems there is One who has a Universal Knowledge...And He has been here since the beginning...He has always been here...And He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow...
I believe that Universal Truths are a strong argument and evidence of God...And I also believe that these Universal Truths are from Him, and allow us to get closer to Him as we study them...He created these things...And He created all things, and all things are made through Him...And these Universal Truths like the Laws of Nature help us explain His creation -and helps us understand nature and creation a little bit better...And when we understand more about those things that He created, we understand Him a little bit better...
