God First Gave us Light
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Jesus is the Light
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Jesus Hold All Things Together
15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

What is Seen Was Not Made Out of What Is Visible
1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

The Invisible Things of This World
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
The first thing that God created was Light…Is there a reason the Light was the first thing made?… Light must be important, to be the first thing created...Does everything need Light?...Jesus was with God from the beginning...Jesus is the Light...Without Light nothing was made that has been made...We need the Light for things to exist and to be...
The one who works is known by what he makes and creates…Just as God is known for what He has made and Has created…The limited understanding of our minds makes it difficult to understand the infinite understanding of an Infinite Mind and an Infinite One…The invisible things He also created, and there are many things which we cannot see...Yet many if not all of the things we can see are made up tinier invisible things…Things like atoms, protons, particles, molecules and DNA…So it seems that these things we see are made up of things we cannot see, these invisible things…
The Son of God is the Light...The Son is the Image of the invisible God, the Firstborn over all creation...For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him...The invisible things have also been created through Him and for Him...These things like atoms, protons, particles, molecules and DNA…Jesus is before all things, and in Him all things hold together...Big and small, visible and invisible Jesus holds these things together...
If the Bible is right then Jesus has the whole world in His hands...He holds our universe together...He is the Sustainer of Life...
