Genesis 1:1-31
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so.10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
Isaiah 1:18 (KJV)
Reasoning Together
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Isaiah 43:26
Reasoning
26 Review the past for me, let us argue the matter together; state the case for your innocence.
Mark 11:27-33
Jesus and Others Thinking and Reasoning
27 They arrived again in Jerusalem, and while Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders came to him. 28 “By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you authority to do this?”
29 Jesus replied, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.30 John’s baptism—was it from heaven, or of human origin? Tell me!”
31 They discussed it among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask, ‘Then why didn't you believe him?’ 32 But if we say, ‘Of human origin’ …” (They feared the people, for everyone held that John really was a prophet.)
33 So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.”
Jesus said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”

Jesus the Same, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
John 4:24
God is Spirit
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
Where did our ability to think logically and reason things out come from?...Did God create logic and reason and when did He do it?...Are there really such things as logic and reason?...If logic and reason just came to us randomly and at a random time how they really be logical or reasonable?...Wouldn't they have to come from Someone or Something instead of randomly and their basis be in Truth or a Universal Truth?...
All of the evidence looked at by believers and non-believers is exactly the same evidence...But there are two choices in coming to what we believe and the ways we look and see the same evidence...Some see God and His creation, while others see a random Big Bang and evolution -from the exact same evidence...
There are those who believe that when God created the heavens and earth, they believe He did it in a very organized way...God's thinking process creating the universe was organized, sensible, logical, and reasonable...God is not and would not be illogical...Logic and reason seems to have been there for Someone to create the heavens and earth, nature, the universe, and the way that earth turned out during this creation process -so that mankind could live on it...So when the heavens and earth was created, some believe He created logic and reason...(Others say logic and reason came later and after creation)...So some see creation and look at the universe and believe that logic and reasoning all stems from God...So God created both logic and reason...But other smart theologians say that our Creator did not necessarily create logic and reason, but that logic and reason embodies Him...Logic and reasoning are a function of His mind...Some believe that the laws of logic and reason are contingent on God...The laws of logic and reason are a part of God, which makes them a part of this world and a part of us, and is built in us to help us think logically and to reason things out...In all are different type thoughts, logic and reason prevails...So man can use his own logic and reason, because the very basis of God is logic and reason...And as we look around, we can see logic and reason surrounding the earth and the universe...
The non-believer believes that in the beginning, the heavens and earth were randomly created and we needed no logic or no reason for creation and our surroundings...It just all happened with a random Big Bang...Something was made out of nothing and in the last thirteen to fifteen billion years man has evolved from some warm water primordial soup from a simple cell watery-water like things into man...Logic and reason would not be involved in this evolution type and Big Bang process...But logic and reasoning would have came about much later in the last two hundred thousand years when man finally evolved from his chimpanzee and ape grandparents...We started only to think a billion years later and then is when logic and reasoning started...Man created our own logic and reason...
There are these two views then...One involves God and the other believes that logic and reason had nothing to do with God...Believers believe in the Majesty of God and since God has always existed that logic and reason have existed whenever He made those things (logic and reasoning) happen...The non-believer believes in the majesty of man, and man brought us logic and reason millions or billions of years later...
Physicists and mathematicians are more frequently proving that the universe abides by the laws of mathematics...Why is that?...Why does the universe operate in a uniform way?...It does not have to, but it does...How is it that there are these uniform laws and rules of mathematics in our universe?...Where did these natural laws in the universe come from?...Did they come from Somebody or Something?...Why are there so many of these universal laws?...And these universal laws are logical and reasonable...
Everyone agrees that reasoning and logic do exist...Through our logic and our reasoning, we realize that there are truths and universal truths that exist everywhere and at anytime...We know that there are these truths through the use of our reasoning and logic that exist everywhere (for instance 3 times 3 equals 9 everywhere and at anytime)...Since three times three is always nine, logic and reasoning has always existed and is always existing everywhere and at anytime...The answer to three times three does not change, it is and will be eternally the same answer...The laws for reason and logic hold no tangibility or materialistic features...This is no material or matter to three times three equaling nine...This knowledge and information that three times three equals nine is different than matter and material things...No matter needs to be involved in holding the knowledge and logic and the reasoning that nine is universal, to the answer to three times three...The answer to the question what is three times three is nine and is unchanging, non-material, and really abstract (in the sense in where did the answer originally come from)...The answer nine is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow...
Those believing this can see that there are universal Truths...These truths came from somewhere or Someone and at some point in time...These Truths that are logical and reasonable...These Truths are timeless, they are true forever...And these Truths are not made of matter or material...These things of Truth are now eternal...So from the exact same evidence we have two choices...The believer believes that this logic and reason comes from God...The non-believer believes logic and reason came to us randomly...
