Auf der anderen Seite... Der Eichhörnchen ist ein Teufel.
ABILITY:
Your good non-Traveler neighbours are poisoned. If the Ein dies, you become the Ein. This can only happen once.
STORYTELLER NOTES:
The Zwei breaks the usual rule that if more than one Demon lives, kills each night are arbitrary.
Remember the jinx with the Lunatic: if you intend to create a Lunatic Zwei, play with one extra Townsfolk or Outsider token, and claim they have been changed to the Zwei on Night 1.
Keep in mind that in a Ein/Zwei game, the only Demon available at setup is the Ein: the Zwei is selected on the Ein's first night and cannot be selected on its own.
The Zwei lies in wait, ready to act if the Ein should perish.
Playing as the Zwei
The Ein's strength is in numbers: while the Zwei doubles the amount of Demons on the Grimoire, making it more susceptible to Demon-finding roles like the Fortune Teller, it also creates an inbuilt Scarlet Woman to pass to should the need arise, and with its own ability to win when 3 players live, as well as the Zwei's ability to poison its good-aligned neighbours (for better or worse), you have tremendous strength to start, which wanes substantially if it - or you - are killed. While being the Zwei ensures you are at maximum power, remember that you're the fallback plan, so if you need to push on your Ein to buy credibility down the line, you may need to fall in line with the town's information.
Your ability to poison good neighbours can set up some interesting interactions, since unlike the No Dashii, you can poison Outsiders, leading to interactions that might have unforseen consequences. Get cosy with your neighbours, learn their roles, and try to use them to your advantage.
Example
Scott is the Zealot who is chosen by Maurice, the Ein, to be the Zwei. Scott poisons his good neighbours - the Librarian who ultimately confirms him as the Zealot, and the Fortune Teller, who receives correct information, suggesting that Maurice is the Demon, but later receives a no on Scott. Scott rightly pushes on Maurice, who becomes the Ein once Maurice dies, riding his confirmation to a win.
Fighting the Zwei
Two Demons on the board usually spells chaos for the town, but with an Ein in play, it's business as usual. Double the Demons in play means double the opportunities to find them, so get killing! Executing players who are seen as a viable Demon candidate may weaken the Ein substantially, so don't bide your time waiting for clarifying information, because you may not have the luxury of a final 3 to decide what is and what isn't.
You are forced to play offensive to weaken the Ein and ultimately win the game, not just because of its unique win condition, but because your information will be fractured and seemingly unreliable. Once you know it's in play, don't delay.
Remember that the Zwei poisons all good players - not just Townsfolk - so while you can build worlds as you would as if a No Dashii is in play, if Outsider abilities like that of the Recluse or Golem don't seem to work as intended, there's a good chance a Zwei is nearby.
Example
Renee is the Golem. She nominates the claimed Washerwoman, who does not die. The Fisherman, confirmed by the Washerwoman, discerns that they cannot be the Demon given their very first chat together, which confirmed the Washerwoman's information. Renee correctly determines she is sat next to the Zwei, who forced her power to misfire.
Jinxes
Scarlet Woman: If the Zwei lives and the Ein dies, they become the Demon.
