I've always wondered what's behind this door--
ABILITY:
You start knowing a neighbour's character (Travellers don't count); if they are evil, info you receive is arbitrary. The Demon starts knowing the player and character of the other neighbour.
STORYTELLER NOTES:
The Snoop is an Outsider, so consider giving them the less powerful of the two available roles, opting to provide the Demon with the more powerful one.
Additionally, if the Snoop neighbours an evil player, ensure that the role you give is in fact one of the bluffs - or, if possible, an out-of-play role entirely, to give that Minion or Demon something extra to bluff.
The Snoop sees one of its neighbours, but gives the Demon a look as well.
Playing as the Snoop
It's not often that an Outsider gets information, but sadly, your sneaky ways have let the Demon in on a few secrets of their own. Consider trying to confirm the neighbour you see, as that can form a powerful confirmation chain, but remember that evil players will be seen as good roles regardless - so while you may be confirming a good player, you may instead be giving a free bluff to an evil player! There's nothing wrong with withholding your information, but as a courtesy, it might be useful to let your other neighbour know that the Demon knows precisely who they are.
Example
Maggie is the Snoop. On Night 1, she sees that one of her neighbours is the Artist. The Demon has seen that Maggie's other neighbour is the Fortune Teller. Maggie confronts her neighbour with this information, and offers her condolences to her other neighbour. Sorry about that.
Bluffing as the Snoop
Want to coax a hard claim out of a neighbour? Bluffing as the Snoop might be just the thing! Telling a neighbour that they've been "seen" by the Demon might push them to claim their role and even out themselves to town, making them a prime target at night, as long as they're telling the truth. Consider trying to confirm your other neighbour as soon as is reasonable, since people may doubt you are what you claim if you're unable to produce a role in a timely fashion.
Alternatively, you may want to confront a neighbour with a role you know they aren't, in an effort to frame them as evil. They know you're either poisoned or lying, but who's to say who's correct?
Example
Cal is the Boffin bluffing as the Snoop. He immediately informs one of his neighbours that the Demon has seen them, and they out to Cal as the Slayer. They pressure the Slayer into shooting that day, ultimately wasting their shot, since the Demon is primed to kill them that night.
