Curator-Led Tour of Of Light and Air: Winslow Homer in Watercolor, MFA, Thursday, December 18 at 11 AM
Guiding us on the Winslow Homer’s watercolor exhibit at the MFA is Ethan Lasser, John Moors Cabot Chair of the Art of the Americas & Head of Exhibition Strategy. This well-reviewed exhibit brings dozens of the MFA’s Homer watercolors back into the galleries for a new generation to experience, alongside a selection of related oils, drawings, and prints by the artist.
Read here to learn more about this rare opportunity to see these watercolors before they return to storage for safekeeping.
This tour is limited to 20 people, BOLLI members only. To register, you must secure tickets for the 11:00-11:30 entry for the show, using the MFA website. Once you have reserved your tickets, contact Jennifer Coplon at jencoplon@gmail.com. Members receive free entry to the exhibit. For non-members, you must pay at the entrance. We will meet in the Sharf Visitor Center just before 11 and will gather for lunch in the museum cafeteria after the tour.
